Collège La Découverte is seeking 1 German teacher (38%) for its lower secondary programme (Years 9–10–11 HarmoS).
We are looking for a passionate and committed teacher, enthusiastic about their subject and eager to contribute to the development of our new collège.
About us: Collège La Découverte
Collège La Découverte is a private lower secondary school in Geneva, which opened in August 2025 and offers an innovative and alternative pedagogical approach centred on the child.
The Collège is developing a full curriculum leading to the Swiss Matura (cantonal and federal) as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB), in line with an active, bilingual (French-English) and personalised educational philosophy for each learner.
Role overview
The selected teacher will work closely with the school leadership and teaching team to implement the school’s educational vision, ensuring alignment with the objectives and standards of the Plan d’études romand (PER).
Profile required
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in secondary education (in the relevant subject)
- In-depth knowledge of the Swiss curriculum (PER) and its objectives
- Strong interest in project-based learning and active pedagogy
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development
- Knowledge of alternative teaching methods
